With the runner-up showing, Fowler continued his string of consecutive top-five finishes. He has now finished among the top four in each of his four collegiate starts.

Junior Trent Leon tied for 17th place at 217 after a final round of 73, while junior transfer Jon McLean turned in the best performance of his brief Cowboy career, tying for 20th place at 218 after carding a 74.
Freshman Kevin Tway matched his career-low round with a 3-under 69 to finish at 219 and tied for 25th place.
Fellow freshman Mark Johnson tied for 51st place after a 3-over 75 gave him a 225 total.
