Cowboy Baseball Succeeds In Classroom

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Oklahoma State baseball team had 22 players earn a 3.0 or high grade point average during the 2007 fall semester.
“We really stress academics in our program, and it's good to see our guys taking care of business in the classroom,” said OSU head coach Frank Anderson.
Highlighting the group of Cowboy student-athletes were sophomore Kevin David and junior Joe Kent, who were each named to the OSU President's Honor Roll with 4.0 G.P.A.s.
The Cowboys also had six players earn OSU Dean's Honor Roll status with G.P.A.s between 3.5 and 3.99. Those players include juniors Justin Otto, Jordy Mercer and Kendall Horner, sophomores Eric Walker and Matt Willis and freshman Dean Green.
