The Colonels plated a run in the second and took a 3-2 lead in the third on RBIs by Brett Hoeflich and Ryan Bledsoe, but that score did not hold up for long.
Coach Frank Anderson's squad took command of the contest in the bottom of the third with a seven-run rally in which the Cowboys sent 11 batters to the plate.
Mach got the scoring started with his second RBI double of the contest, and Mangini followed with a run-scoring double of his own to put the Cowboys back on top by a 4-3 count. A bases-loaded single by Matt Lopez scored a pair of runs, and Keanon Simon followed with the big blow of the inning as he smashed a three-run home run to right-centerfield for a 9-3 OSU lead.
OSU would score three more runs as they collected 14 hits on the day, with six different Cowboys getting at least two hits.

Mangini finished 3-for-4 and tied a season high with four RBIs, while Simon had two hits and three RBIs in five trips to the plate.
Freshman Andrew Oliver picked up the win on the mound to improve to 3-0. The southpaw allowed four runs on eight hits in 4.1 innings of work.
