Cowboy Golf Remains In 10th Place At Southern Highlands Collegiate

Oklahoma State's men's golf team carded a 13-over-par team score of 301 during its second round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate to hold its spot in 10th place.
After opening with a 7-over 295 to stand in 10th, the Cowboys held their position with a 20-over total of 596 after the second day of competition. OSU will begin tomorrow's final round one shot out of ninth place and 12 shots behind tournament leader Georgia.
Individually, a quartet of players are tied for the top spot as Texas A&M's Martin Piller, Florida's Billy Horschel, UCLA's Lucas Lee and Georgia Tech's Roberto Castro all finished the day at 141.
A trio of Cowboys are among a group of players tied for 20th place at 148.
Senior Tyler Leon posted his second consecutive 74, while sophomores Jonathan Moore and Trent Leon carded a 75 and 77, respectively, to get to their 4-over totals.
Junior Pablo Martin turned in a 76 and is tied for 49th place at 153, while senior Ryan Posey is tied for 66th place after a 76 moved him to 156.
The Cowboys will begin play at 8 a.m. (PST) tomorrow at the par-72, 7,510-yard layout and will be paired with Wake Forest and Arizona State.
