Knee Injury Sidelines Scott For NWCA All-Star Classic

After sustaining a knee injury at last week's Central Missouri Open, Oklahoma State three-time All-America wrestler Coleman Scott will not compete at Monday's NWCA All-Star Classic in Eugene, Ore., as originally scheduled. Scott's return to the mat is considered as day-to-day.
The nation's top-ranked wrestler at 133 pounds, Scott was slated to face Minnesota's Mack Reiter in Eugene, but has been replaced by Hofstra's Lou Rugirello
Scott's teammate and two-time All-American Nathan Morgan will face Hofstra's Charles Griffin in the 141-pound match at the NWCA All-Star Classic. Morgan competed at the event last year and when he takes the mat Monday, it will mark the 80th time an OSU wrestler has competed at the NWCA All-Star Classic since the event's inception in 1967. Additionally, Morgan will become the 20th Cowboy wrestler to compete at the prestigious event more than once.
