2006: Adams sat out the season due to arm surgery.

2004-05: Played two seasons at Palomar College ... was first-team all-conference both seasons and All-Southern California as a sophomore ... compiled a 10-4 record and 3.47 ERA as a sophomore ... as a freshman was 6-2 with a 3.51 ERA ... also recruited by Oklahoma, Kansas, Tennessee, Oral Roberts and Kentucky.

2003: Redshirted as a freshman at Long Beach State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the 2002 California Division II Pitcher of the Year as a senior at Oceanside High School ... went 8-3 with seven saves, 144 strikeouts and a 1.65 ERA ... as a junior was 6-2 with a 3.10 ERA and 75 strikeouts.

PERSONAL: A sociology major ... son of Rick and Gail Adams ...born Jan. 6, 1984 ... has one sister, Heather ... favorite movie is Braveheart ... favorite athlete is Jake Peavy ... chose OSU because it's a program with a winning tradition that gives him a legitimate shot at a trip to the College World Series.
