The Cowboys are 9-2 after winning a pair of mid-week games against Arkansas-Little Rock in Stillwater. OSU outscored the Trojans 30-14 in the two wins and looks to continue its winning ways in Malibu, Calif., where they open a three-game weekend series against nationally ranked Pepperdine on Friday. OSU has never faced Pepperdine on the baseball diamond.
Pepperdine
The Waves dropped 2-of-3 games at San Diego State last weekend but bounced back with a 6-1 win over UCLA on Tuesday to get back over the .500 mark at 10-9.

Pepperdine is ranked No. 23 by Baseball America, No. 24 by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, No. 28 by the NCBWA and No. 18 in the USA Today/ESPN poll.
OSU is not ranked in any of the four major polls.

All OSU baseball games will be carried live by Stillwater Radio. The Pepperdine series is scheduled to be broadcast on KSPI 93.7 FM. Should there be a scheduling conflict with OSU basketball advancing at the Big 12 Tournament, baseball can be heard on 780 AM. Rex Holt, who is in his 24th season as the play-by-play voice of Cowboy baseball, will call the action. About Pepperdine
The Waves were just one win away from advancing to an NCAA Super Regional in 2005 and entered this season ranked as high as No. 11 (Baseball America). With a team batting average of .266 and an average of just over five runs per game, Pepperdine has struggled offensively. However, the two-time defending West Coast Conference champions have some impressive wins on their resumé in '06. The Waves are 5-3 against ranked teams this season, including beating both Oregon State and Tulane twice and defeating Long Beach State.
As A Matter Of Fact: Pepperdine catcher Chad Tracy's father, Jim, is in his first season as the manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates after spending five seasons managing the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Players To Watch
• Chad Tracy, C - Considered one of the top catchers in college baseball, Tracy was the West Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2005 and a second-team All-American. The junior is hitting .308 on the season and is second on the club in hits (24) and RBIs (14).
• David Uribes, 2B - A former Freshman All-American and All-WCC, Uribes is batting in the leadoff spot and hitting .325. He leads the team with 25 hits and has stolen a team-high 11 bases on 11 attempts.
Pitching Rotation
Friday - Paul Coleman, LHP - The 2005 West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year, Coleman is 2-1 with a 2.90 ERA in five starts this season. He has 29 Ks in 31 innings.
Saturday - Adam Olbrychowski, RHP - The righty is 2-3 with a 5.08 ERA in five starts. Opponents are hitting .361 against him.
Sunday - Barry Enright, RHP - Enright leads the Waves with three wins and is 3-1 with a 5.88 ERA in six starts. He has surrendered six homers in 33.2 IP.
Aluminum Assault
Frank Anderson has called his 2006 squad the best offensive team he's had since arriving in Stillwater in 2004, and the Cowboys are proving their head coach prophetic.
OSU leads the Big 12 Conference with a .368 batting average and has four players — Shelby Ford, Deik Scram, Corey Brown and Jordy Mercer — who rank in the top 10 in the league in batting average.
The Cowboys have scored 118 runs in 11 games and have collected 159 hits — averages of 10.7 runs and 14.5 hits per game. The Cowboys have scored 10 or more runs seven times and have had seven games where they racked up at least 16 hits, including two contests in which they topped the 20-hit mark.
Nine different Cowboys are hitting over .300, with four of those topping the .400 mark.
