The Razorbacks won their eighth straight to move to 13-1 on the season, while the Cowboys dropped to 11-6.
The Hogs scored two more runs in the third on a RBI double by Danny Hamblin and a RBI single by Clay Goodwin and then broke the game open with a three-run fourth inning to extend the lead to 7-0. Scott Bridges had a run scoring single and Casey Rowlett added a two-run single to knock Wright out of the ballgame.
Wright (3-1) was charged with his first loss of the season after giving up seven runs, six earned on 10 hits in 3.2 innings of work.
The Pokes scored a run in the fourth on a RBI singe by and added three more in the fifth to cut the lead to 7-4. Rowlett, who finished 3-for-5 with three RBI, had a run scoring single in the sixth to push the lead to 8-4.
OSU cut into the lead in the eighth on a RBI single by to cut the advantage to 8-5, but Clay Goodwin put the game away with a three-run homer in the top of the ninth.
The Pokes added two runs in the bottom of the ninth on a double by Ty Wright to close out the game scoring.
Ty Wright led the Pokes with a 3-for-4 day at the plate with four RBIs, while extended his hit streak to eight games with a three-hit outing.
Bridges and Rowlett led the Hogs with three hits each, while Goodwin had two hits and four RBIs.
The Cowboys will continue its 13-game homestand as they host Wisconsin-Milwaukee this weekend in a three game series starting on Friday at
