Oklahoma State Rallies To Defeat Kansas State 8-5

OSU took the series with the win and improved to 17-6 overall and 2-0 in league play, while KSU fell to 12-7 and 0-2 in conference.
The Wildcats knocked Cowboy starter out of the game with a four-run fourth inning that broke a 1-1 tie. Terry Blunt had a two-run single and Josh Dent a two-run triple to account for the KSU runs.
The Pokes cut into the lead to one with a three-run fourth, highlighted by sacrifice flies by Ty Wright and and a RBI double by .
OSU then took the lead in the sixth with a four-run stanza as Ty Wright had a two-run triple and Brown a RBI double to lead the way.
Reliever (1-0) got out of a bases loaded jam in relief of in the fourth and pitched 5.1 innings of two-hit scoreless relief. He struck out six and walked only one batter to pick up his first win at OSU.
Ty Wright and led the Cowboys with three hits each, while chipped in with two.
Centerfielder Josh Dent had two hits and three RBI to lead the
Brown's RBI single staked OSU to a 1-0 lead in the second, but the Wildcats came right back to tie the game at 1-1 in the third, courtesy of a RBI double by Dent.
The Cowboys and Wildcats will close out the three game set tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. Junior lefty is slated to go for OSU on the mound, while KSU will counter with junior righthander Adam Cowart.
