Oklahoma State Completes Sweep Over Wisconsin-Milwaukee

STILLWATER, Okla. Â— Junior struck out seven and allowed one run over seven innings to lead Oklahoma State past Wisconsin-Milwaukee 5-1 in baseball action Sunday afternoon at Reynolds Stadium.

Wright gave up seven hits and walked only one to move to 4-1 on the year.

Oklahoma State has now won six of its last seven contests to improve to 14-6 overall, while Wisconsin-Milwaukee fell to 2-7.

OSU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on three consecutive hits by , and .

The Panthers scored a run on a RBI single by centerfielder Mike Goetz in the second to cut the lead to 2-1. 's RBI double in the fourth extended the Cowboy lead to 3-1. Hernandez had a bases loaded sacrifice fly in the sixth to make it 4-1.

The Pokes added another run in the seventh on a wild pitch to make it 5-1.

The Cowboys will play the fifth contest of the 13-game homestand against Western Illinois on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before opening Big 12 play next weekend against Kansas State.
