No. 23 Oklahoma State Defeats Houston 3-2

HOUSTON Â— Centerfielder Keanon Simon's RBI double in the sixth inning broke a tie ballgame as No. 23 Oklahoma State defeated Houston 3-2 Saturday afternoon at Minute Maid Park.

Oklahoma State improved to 4-1 on the year with the win, while Houston fell to 0-2.

Rightfielder led off the sixth with a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by designated hitter . Catcher grounded out to second, advancing Brown to third and setting up Simon's game-winning heroics.

Cowboy starter scattered seven hits over 5.1 innings of work, allowing two runs while walking two and striking out three in the no-decision. (1-0) pitched two innings of scoreless relief to pick up his first win of the year.
