The Cowboys extended their lead to 13-0 after third-ranked Jake Rosholt recorded six points in the second period before dropping fourth-ranked Travis Pascoe, 6-3. Rosholt's victory handed Pascoe his first loss of the year.
Nebraska cut the lead to 13-4 after third-ranked B.J. Padden recorded four takedowns before dropping Rusty Blackmon. OSU then built on its lead after No. 15 Will Gruenwald used a takedown to knock off nonth-ranked Nathan McClain.
The Huskers earned their second win of the dual when top-ranked Jason Powell defeated Cody Stites, 7-5, in sudden victory.
Fifth-ranked Johnny Thompson needed overtime to defeat ninth-ranked Matt Keller. Thompson was down 5-4 in the third but took a 6-5 lead after a double leg takedown. Keller escaped to tie the score and send it into overtime.

Shufelt struck first with a takedown, only to have Esposito cut the lead with an escape. Shufelt carried a 2-1 lead into the second period only to see Esposito score a reversal to take a 3-2 lead.
Esposito then recorded two more takedowns before dropping Shufelt, 7-6.
Johny Hendricks ended the dual with a 7-2 victory over No. 11 B.J. Wright. The sixth-ranked Cowboy scored a takedown and a three-point nearfall in the third period to give him the victory.
