Rew provides a wealth of experience and should see plenty of action as a starter or in relief if necessary.
2003: Served as the teams closer with five saves in 21 appearances ... 20 of the outings were in relief, lone start came against Oklahoma (5/22) in the final game of the year at the Big 12 tournament ... was a second team All-Big 12 selection ... finished 2-1 with a 3.96 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 36.1 innings ... limited opponents to a .250 batting average ... especially tough on lefthanders, allowing just nine hits in 42 at-bats ... was 2-0 with a 4.41 ERA in 10 relief outings in conference play ... recorded season best five strikeouts against Miami (3/8) and Texas Tech (5/17) ... longest outing of the year was a six-inning showing against the Red Raiders ... allowed three runs on seven hits in picking up his second win of the year ... first win came against Texas A&M (4/19) ... earned saves against Gonzaga (2/16), Texas (3/22, 3/24), Arkansas-Little Rock (4/2) and Kansas State (4/6) ... was a first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection.

2001: Posted an 0-1 ledger with a 3.50 ERA in 12 appearances ... struck out 20 batters in 18.0 innings of work ... had only five appearances in the first three months of the year but came on strong with seven in the final month ... picked up saves against Marshall (3/20) and Mississippi (3/25) ... gave up just one earned run in his last four appearances (5.1 innings) ... longest outing was four innings of two-hit scoreless relief against Santa Clara (4/3).
