Catcher Jason Jaramillo Named All-American

STILLWATER, Okla. Sophomore catcher Jason Jaramillo was named a third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball today.
Jaramillo, a first-team All-Big 12 selection, led the Cowboys with a .385 batting average, to go along with nine homers and 42 RBIs. He is a semi-finalist for the Johnny Bench Award, given to the top collegiate catcher in the country.
The Franksville, Wisc., product was one of four catchers invited to the USA Baseball National Team Trials to be held from June 21-27 in Tucson, Ariz.
Jaramillo is Oklahoma States sixth All-American in the last five years and first catcher to receive post-season plaudits since Michael Daniel in 1991.
