Oklahoma Eliminates Oklahoma State 4-2

Jason Jaramillo provided the offensive spark for the Cowboys, but did not get much help as he went 2-for-4 with his ninth homerun of the season.
David Purcey scattered seven hits over seven innings and allowed just the two runs to pick up the win and even his record at 3-3.
Daniel Rew made the start for the Cowboys and took the loss by giving up four runs on six hits over 3.2 innings of work to drop to 2-1 on the season.
OSU falls to 34-24 on the season, while OU will play on with a 23-30 record.
Jason Jaramillo evened the game at one in the top of the second with his ninth homerun of the season.
OU reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the third. Matt Arkison led off the inning with a ground ball to Josh Fields at third whose throw pulled first baseman John Urick off the bag. Arkison made it around th third on the double by Willits and scored on a sacrifice fly by Cornejo.
Andrew McGuire gave the Sooners a three run lead in the fourth with a tw0-run homerun that went out to right field.
Fields Brought the Cowboys closer with an RBI double that landed just inside the fair line and scored Chris Gutierrez from first.
The 4-2 score held up and Jarod McAuliff pitched the eighth and ninth innings for his ninth save of the season.
The Cowboys have been eliminated from the Big 12 Tournament and are left to wait to see if they will be playing in an NCAA Regional next weekend.
