Cowboys Fall to Oklahoma, 9-4

Oklahoma State (38-19) could not overcome an eight- run deficit by Oklahoma Saturday afternoon in a 9-4 loss.

Oklahoma banged out 15 runs over the Cowboys including three home runs that scored seven runs. Corey Hart, Richard Park, and Justin Elsey belted homers for the Sooners.

Oklahoma State rallied four runs late in the game, and had the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth but only scored a single run from off a Tony Lucca base hit.

OSU scored two runs in the eighth by Lucca hitting a double in the right field gap and followed by a Marc Fournier triple.

Oklahoma State will watch for their regional chances Monday, May 18, on ESPN, at 2 p.m.
