Cowboys Fall to South Alabama, 9-2

Oklahoma State's baseball team (1-2) could not overcome a five-run sixth inning by South Alabama (4-1), losing 9-2 in the first game of the Big Ball Classic.
South Alabama had a one-run lead in the second when Cowboy sophomore Nate Kaup hit the first Cowboy home run of the season, tying the score 2-2.
South Alabama scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings and put the game away with a five-run sixth inning.
The Cowboys will continue play Saturday, Feb. 14, against Rice. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
