Cowboys Set To Host Arkansas-Little Rock

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State will look to snap a season long five-game losing streak against Arkansas-Little Rock on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Reynolds Stadium.
The Cowboys (29-15), ranked No. 25 by the ESPN/Baseball Weekly Coaches Poll, were swept in a tough three-game series against No. 5 Texas over the weekend in Austin. Sophomore Jimmy Rhodes (2-4, 6.43 ERA) will get the start on the mound with several other hurlers expected to get in work as well.
The Trojans (17-27) lost two of three to Murray State last weekend and have dropped 14 of their last 16 contests. Freshman southpaw Scott Sharpe (3-5, 5.81 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for UALR. Junior third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff leads the team with a .379 batting average in 42 games with seven homers and 52 RBIs.
OSU leads the all-time series between the two schools, 34-2, including a 15-2 win the last time the two teams met back in the 1999 season.
After Tuesday's contest the Pokes will travel to Columbia, Mo., to take on Missouri in a three-game Big 12 series this weekend. The first game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. start on Friday. Saturday's game is at 2 p.m. while the series finale is at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
