Texas Rangers Caravan To Hit Stillwater Thursday

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Texas Rangers annual winter caravan will make a special stop in Stillwater this Thursday (Jan. 10) at 5:30 p.m.
Select players and coaches of both the Rangers organization and Oklahoma State baseball will be on hand to address and meet with the fans in the O-Club room in the OSU Athletics Center.
Four complimentary all-session VIP passes for the Big 12 Tournament will be given out as well, courtesy of the Texas Rangers. The 2002 Big 12 Tournament will be held at The Ballpark in Arlington from May 22-26.
Rangers personnel expected to attend the event will be players Gabe Kapler, Craig Monroe and Justin Duchscherer along with bench coach Terry Francona.
Oklahoma State head coach Tom Holliday along with several Cowboy players will be on hand to talk about the upcoming baseball season as well. OSU is ranked No. 10 in Collegiate Baseball and No. 23 in Baseball America's Preseason Poll. The Pokes return several key performers from last year's NCAA tournament team which finished 42-22.
