Cowgirls Prepared to Open Cross Country Season in Tulsa

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's cross country team opens their season this Friday at the Tulsa Hurricane Cross Country Festival at the University of Tulsa.

The Cowgirls are sending a plethora of runners to compete. Among them are junior All-American Alexandra Lindquist and Sophomore Marie Nilsson. Siri Alfheim will also be competing after a successful outdoor track season in the spring. Alfheim competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 5,000-meter.

The Cowgirls will next compete at the University of Arkansas on September 8.
