Cowgirls Compete In KSU Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State womens indoor track and field team competed in its second meet for the season Friday at the KSU Invitational in Manhattan, Kan.
The Cowgirls finished sixth in the meet, accumulating a total of 21 team points. Seniors Sara Wells and Araceli Davila, and Juniors Tiffany Davis and Stephani Duff were the teams top performers at the meet, collectively scoring all 21 points.
Wells and Davila both scored eight points for the Cowgirls. Wells finished second in the 3,000m run, finishing in 10:08.42 and scoring eight team points. Davila earned six team points by finishing on Wells heels in the same race, placing third in 10:26.85. Davila scored another two team points when she finished fifth in the mile run with a time of 5:16.74.
Davis claimed four team points by finishing fourth in the 60m high hurdles with a time of 9.00. Duff was the Cowgirl to earn OSUs final team point. She finished sixth in the long jump, posting an 1801.75 jump.
The Cowgirls next appearance will be this coming weekend at the OU Invitational in Norman, Okla.
