Cowgirls Begin Season At The OU All Comers Meet

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's track team competed in its first indoor meet this season Saturday at the OU All Comers Meet in Norman, Okla.
Junior Tiffany Davis brought home a sixth-place finish in the finals of the 60-meter high hurdles with a time of 9.03. She qualified for the final competition after finishing second with a time of 8.86 in Heat 2 of the competition.
Junior Stephani Duff also had an eventful day. She finished first with a time of 7.82 in Heat 5 of the 60-meter dash. She also finished 16th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.04. In the long jump, she posted a 17'04.75 jump, giving her a 13th-place finish.
Several Cowgirls competed in the 3,000-meter run. Senior Kristina Klos finished eighth with a time of 11:28.41. Freshman Michelle Bowziden's 11:47.97 time was good enough for an 11th-place finish. Freshman Lisa Bowles finished 14th in 12:15.20.
The Cowgirls' next appearance is scheduled for Jan. 13, 2001, again in Norman, Okla.
