Men's Track Travels To Missouri Southern

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's men's track team will continue its indoor season at the Radio Shack Missouri Southern Invitational on Saturday in Joplin, Mo.
The meet, hosted by Missouri State Southern College at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center, begins with field events at noon. Running events will start at 4:30 p.m.
It is the first of two Missouri Southern meets the Cowboys will attend during the indoor season. After taking a week off next weekend, OSU will travel back to Joplin to compete in the Missouri Southern Invitational II on Feb. 5.
The Cowboys are coming off a good distance showing at the Wildcat Invitational on Jan. 14.
Senior Chuck Sloan won the mile run with a time of 4:14.62, as OSU captured the top four spots in the event. Sophomore Bruce Wright won the 3,000-meter run in 8:41.85.
Newcomer Jason Woolhouse finished second in two events. He crossed the line right behind Sloan in the mile with a time of 4:20.07. Woolhouse finished the 800m run with a time of 2:00.00.
