STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's top-ranked wrestling team took advantage of two forfeits by Oregon to garner an easy 36-6 win over the Ducks Saturday morning in Stillwater.
The Cowboys moved to 18-0 with the win and have won 63 straight dual meets. The Ducks fell to 4-6 with the loss.
Teague Moore and Eric Guerrero, the Cowboy's defending national champions, both received forfeits and six team points. The Cowboys also got bonus points from a fall from 285-pounder Dave Anderton, a technical fall by Mark Smith and a major decision win by Reggie Wright.
The Cowboys also got wins from Charles Walker at 141-pounds, Jimmy Arias at 157 pounds and Mark Mu-oz at 184 pounds. Arias came from behind for his win after being down 5-0 :20 into the match.
The Cowboys return to action this evening when they host Oregon State at 7:30 p.m.
