STILLWATER, Okla. -- Willie Gruenwald of Skiatook High School has signed a national letter-of-intent with the Oklahoma State wrestling program.
Gruenwald was a three-time state champion for the Bulldogs, wrestling at 189 pounds. He is a projected 197-pounder in the Cowboys' lineup.
"Willie is one of the best big men this state has had in a long time," said OSU head coach John Smith. "We feel good about him becoming a Cowboy. We see him as a fixture in our lineup in the future."
Gruenwald is one of two signees for the Cowboys. Tyrone Lewis of El Reno signed with Cowboys during the fall signing period.
