- The Cowboys fell behind by as many as 14, but managed to chip away at Baylor's lead in the second. Kendall Smith's three-pointer cut the lead to five with the score at 57-52 with 5:21 to go in the game, but that is as close as the Cowboys would get.
- Mitchell Solomon was getting it done on all sides of the floor. The senior posted 13 points, 5 rebounds (3 of which were offensive) and a career-high 4 steals.
- Baylor shot 63.0 percent from the field in the opening half, which is the highest by an opponent in any half this season.
- The Cowboys took a 30-28 lead with 4:20 to go in the first half, but Baylor took off for an 11-0 run to take a 39-30 lead heading into the break.
- Cameron McGriff recorded one block in tonight's game, and in the last three games, the sophomore has recorded seven blocks. He also pulled in seven rebounds.
- The Cowboys shot 47 percent from the free throw line. The last time they shot below 50 percent from the charity stripe was when they shot 44.4 percent against Maryland on Dec. 21, 2014.
- Smith led all Cowboys for the second-straight game with 15 points.
- Brandon Averette was a key facilitator for the Cowboys. He managed to dish out five assists while only turning it over once.
- The Cowboys forced 19 turnovers and turned those turnovers into 27 points.
- Baylor increases their winning streak over the Cowboys to six games and three-straight in Stillwater. The Cowboys fall to 26-8 at home against Baylor and 54-27 in the all-time series. OSU's regular season record stands at 14-10 with a 4-7 mark in Big 12 play.
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 571 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.Â
