Kaylee Jensen Named Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Kaylee Jensen was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Cowgirl basketball squad to a pair of road victories last week.

The senior, who also received the honor on Jan. 2, logged her 40th and 41st career double-doubles in wins at No. 24 TCU and at Iowa State.

In Fort Worth, Jensen finished with 22 points and a game-high 16 rebounds in 34 minutes. She also blocked a season-high five shots. Jensen hit seven of her 12 shots from the floor and all eight of her free-throw attempts against the Horned Frogs.

The Genoa, Neb., native hit 12 of her 18 shots from the floor en route to a career-high 35 points against Iowa State on Saturday. She made 11 of her 14 free-throw attempts as well. Jensen pulled 12 rebounds, blocked three shots and had one assist in 34 minutes as well.

She scored 16 consecutive points in the fourth quarter to help the Cowgirls fend off the Cyclones' second-half rally.
