Braxtin Miller Picks Up Big 12 Weekly Honor

IRVING, Texas – For the second time this season, Oklahoma State's Braxtin Miller earned Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors it was announced today by the league office.

Miller was tabbed after averaging 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and one steal over the Cowgirls' two contests.

The Centerville, Ohio native scored a career-high 23 points in OSU's loss at No. 8 Texas during the midweek. Against the Longhorns, Miller hit nine of her 17 shots from the floor and grabbed three rebounds to go with four assists.

In OSU's win over in-state rival Oklahoma on Sunday, Miller scored 14 points. The 5-10 guard hit five of her 13 shots from the floor, including two of her five 3-point attempts. She also grabbed seven rebounds to go with five assists, two steals and one block.

Miller and the 20^th-ranked Cowgirls will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Manhattan, Kan., to take on Kansas State at 1 p.m.
