Post-Game Notes
- Saturday marked Oklahoma State's first overtime game since a 58-55 win over Kansas State in 2016. It was the 13th overtime game played between Oklahoma State and Iowa State and the first in the series since an 85-81 Cyclone win in 2014.
- Throughout the game, the two teams didn't as much trade baskets as they did trade scoring runs. The Cyclones opened up a 76-68 advantage with 3:32 left in the game, but the Cowboys closed out regulation with an 11-3 run to send the game into overtime. Iowa State held an 83-79 advantage early in overtime before OSU closed the game out with a 17-4 run to win.
