- The Cardiac Cowboys were at it again in this one. After taking a one-point lead with 22 seconds to go, the Razorbacks took a 66-65 lead on a tip-in by Daniel Gafford with 16 seconds to go.
- The Cowboys had a couple of chances in the last seconds to take the lead but came up just short on their shot attempts.
- Mitchell Solomon sank two huge free throws with 22 seconds left in the game to give the Cowboys a 65-64 lead.
- The Razorbacks used a key 12-0 run to erase an 8-point deficit to take their first lead of the game at 50-49 with 10:45 left in the second half. Â
- Solomon entered the game ranked 17th nationally with a 2-point field goal percentage of 70.6. He had another efficient game with 10 points on 2-4 shooting. He was also perfect from the charity stripe. Â
- Jeffrey Carroll continues to pass legendary Cowboys on the program's all-time scoring list. His 8 points gave him 1,192 in his career, passing Joe Adkins for 28th place in OSU history.
- The Cowboys got off to a hot start with a 9-0 run against the Razorbacks. This is the second year in a row the Cowboys jumped out to a 9-0 lead against the Razorbacks.
- The Razorbacks used a run of their own to get back in the game after the Cowboys took a 9-0 lead. But the Cowboys responded with a 15-3 run to take their largest lead of the game at 13.
- Yankuba Sima's streak of three-straight games with three blocks came to an end after he only recorded one block in today's contest. His one block gives him 10 over the last 4 games.Â
- Cameron McGriff provided a lift off the bench for the Cowboys. He was 3-5 from the field with 8 points. He also hauled in four offensive rebounds for the third time this season. He joins Solomon as the only Cowboys to do that this season. He also had 10 rebounds for the second time in his career.
- Lindy Waters used some hot shooting in the game to lead the Cowboys with 10 points. Waters finished the game with 17 points to lead all Cowboys.
- Brandon Averette also finished with double digits. He had 10 points to go along with 4 assists.
- OSU's overall record against the Razorbacks drops to 36-15 and its road record in the Big 12/SEC Challenge moves to 3-2. Arkansas now leads the series in Fayetteville, 10-8. OSU has now lost its last six road games dating back to last season. OSU's record against the current member of the SEC is now 124-128. The Cowboys are now 13-8 on the season with 10 regular season games to play.
- Â OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 568 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.
