Jensen Named Big 12 Player of the Week

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's Kaylee Jensen was named the Big 12 Player of the Week after the conference's opening week of play it was announced today by the league office.
With her selection, Jensen becomes the third different Cowgirl to pick up a weekly honor from the conference this season. Loryn Goodwin has twice been named player of the week, while Braxtin Miller has a freshman of the week distinction to her credit.
In OSU's wins over Texas Tech and Kansas State, Jensen averaged 22.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 blocks and one steal per game. Additionally, she hit 62 percent of her shots from the floor.
The Genoa, Neb., native logged game highs with 26 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in the Cowgirls' road win against the Lady Raiders.
Jensen capped the week with a 19-point, 18-rebound, 4-assist performance against Kansas State. With her numbers, the senior center became just the fourth Big 12 player since 1999-2000 to record at least 19 points, 18 rebounds and four assists in a game.
Jensen and the 20th-ranked Cowgirls will be back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Austin, Texas to face Texas at 7 p.m.
