- Cameron McGriff had his best Big 12 game of the year. He set a career-high with 16 points.
- The Bears' hot shooting in the second half was too much for the Cowboys to handle. The Bears hit eight 3-pointers to help them extend their lead. Manu Lecomte led the Bears with 30 points.
- Tavarius Shine had a big game for the Cowboys with 14 points. He continues to excel at the free throw line, for he was perfect from the charity stripe in this one. He has been consistent from the line this year, shooting more than 75 percent.
- The Cowboys closed the first half outscoring the Bears, 22-11, to take a 27-26 lead into the second half. The Cowboys are now 8-3 this season when leading at halftime.
- Thomas Dziagwa gave the Cowboys a much needed spark off the bench in the first half. He knocked down a pair of 3-pointers to finish the first half with eight points. He is shooting 42 percent in his career from the 3-point line and that ranks 6th in OSU history.
- Yankuba Sima had career-high 10 rebounds in tonight's contest. He also had three blocks in this game after having three total blocks in his first eight games this season. He tied the season-high for blocks in a game.
- Mitchell Solomon had six rebounds to give him 501 in his career at OSU. He became the 26th player in OSU history with 500 career rebounds.
- OSU falls to 2-4 in Big 12 play and 12-6 on the season. OSU's lead in the overall series decreases to 54-27 and Baylor lengthens the lead in Waco to 19-17. OSU's last win in Waco came on Feb. 9, 2015.Â
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 565 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.
