Four Cowboys Earn All-America Status

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team had four players honored on Thursday with the announcement of the second, third and honorable mention Ping All-America Teams by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Senior Zachary Olsen, junior Kristoffer Ventura, sophomore Zach Bauchou and freshman Viktor Hovland all received honorable mention status, bringing the total number of All-Americans in program history to 176.
Olsen, who was named a third-team All-American earlier this month by Golfweek Magazine, posted five top-10 finishes during his final campaign. A native of Cordova, Tenn., Olsen was also named a first-team all-conference selection this past season as well.
Ventura, a native of Rygge, Norway, had a pair of runner-up finishes this past season on his way to first-team All-Big 12 and honorable mention Golfweek All-America status.
A native of Forest, Va., Bauchou was a first-team conference pick this past year and achieved honorable mention Golfweek All-America honors as well after tallying six top 10s.
The honor caps an impressive freshman campaign for Hovland, who was also named to the GCAA's All-Freshman Team. Like his three teammates, the Oslo, Norway native received honorable mention All-America honors from Golfweek and was a first-team all-league pick.
