Four Cowboys Earn Golfweek All-America Status

STILLWATER, Okla. – Four members of Oklahoma State's men's golf team were honored with the announcement of Golfweek's All-America squads.
Senior Zachary Olsen was named a third-team selection, while sophomore Zach Bauchou, freshman Viktor Hovland and junior Kristoffer Ventura all earned honorable mention status. All four players were previously named first-team all-conference selections as well as all-region picks.
Olsen wrapped up his final campaign as a Cowboy with five top-10 finishes, including a runner-up showing at the Aggie Invitational. The Cordova, Tenn., native also finished fifth at the NCAA Austin Regional and tied for 10th at the Amer Ari Invitational, Valspar Collegiate and The Maxwell.
Bauchou tallied six top 10s during his second season as a Cowboy. In addition to a runner-up showing at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate, the Forest, Va., native finished fourth a the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational and the Big 12 Championship. Additionally, Bauchou tied for sixth place at The Maxwell and was 10th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate and the NCAA Austin Regional.
A member of the Golf Coaches Association of America's All-Freshman Team, Hovland closed out his rookie campaign with five consecutive top 10s. After tying for eighth place at the Aggie Invitational, the Oslo, Norway native finished second at The Maxwell before tying for sixth place at the Big 12 Championship. Hovland tied for fifth place at the NCAA Austin Regional before closing the year with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Championship.
Ventura finished second at the Paintbrush Invitational before tying for second at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate. The Rygge, Norway native also tied for seventh place at Southern Highlands Collegiate before tied for fourth place at the Valspar Collegiate. Ventura also tied for fifth place at the NCAA Austin Regional.
