- Jawun Evans recorded his third career double-double with 22 points and a career-high 15 assists. That mark is tied for the fourth most in school history, and are the most by an OSU player since Doug Gottlieb tallied 16 against North Texas on Nov. 27, 1999.
- The loss to the Jayhawks ended OSU's three-game homecourt win streak over Kansas. Entering today's game, the Cowboys had won the last three and five of the last seven games against KU.
- The Cowboys are now 3-2 all-time at home against the AP Poll's No. 1 team, and 3-7 overall.
- The Cowboys are 1-7 this season against opponents ranked in the AP Top-25, but five of those seven losses were to teams ranked in the top 10 and four came top-five opponents. OSU is 1-2 against ranked teams since their resurgence over the last 13 games.
- The Cowboys are now 10-6 all-time against the top-three teams in the AP Poll, which is just below Indiana (.636) for the second best mark in college basketball history.
- Today's attendance was 13,611, which is the fourth sellout this season for OSU. The last time OSU sold-out GIA more than four times in a season was in 2006-07 (nine sellouts). Overall, it is the 47th sellout since the arena was expanded in 2000-01.
- Jeffrey Carroll scored 10 of OSU's first 13 points, and reached double-figures in just 4:27 of game time. He finished the night with a team-high 27 points.
- The Cowboys connected on 12 3-pointers today, which is OSU's third straight game with double-digit 3-pointers.
- Seniors Phil Forte and Leyton Hammonds played their final home game for OSU, and tallied 13 and 10 points, respectively.
- Kansas led by as much as 12 points in the first half (3:42Â remaining), but OSU closed the half on a 10-1 run to go into the break down, 43-40. Jawun Evans scored six of OSU's final eight points of the first half.
- The Cowboys took their first lead with 18:35 remaining in the game thanks to a Jawun Evans layup that capped a 12-0 OSU run.
- As a team, the Cowboys have made 67 of their last 73 free throws. Jawun Evans has now made 29 straight free throws, while Phil Forte has now made 20 straight free throws.
- The Cowboys ended the regular season with a 20-11 overall record and a 9-9 mark in Big 12 play.
- Brad Underwood's career record is now 109-25, and his career win percentage of .813 is the second best among all active coaches.
- The Cowboys will be the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Missouri, and will take on No. 4 seed Iowa State in the quarterfinals. The game will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday on ESPN2.
