- Jeffrey Carroll recorded his sixth-career Double-Double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Â He has scored in double figures for the 34th time in his last 41 games.Carroll continues to move up the ranks of Cowboy legends. His 14 points gives him 1,022 for his career. He is now tied with Tony Allen in 37th place for most points in Cowboy history. Â
- OSU was 1-of-1 from the free throw line, which are the fewest attempts and makes by an OSU team in Gallagher-Iba Arena history. It was the fewest makes by the Cowboys in any game since going 0-5 from the stripe at St. Louis on Dec. 4, 1973.
- The Cowboys got hot down the stretch. They made back-to-back three-pointers in the last couple minutes to extend their four-point lead to 10. In the last 8 minutes of the game, the Cowboys shot 60 percent. They shot 56.3 percent in the second half.
- Kendall Smith led the Cowboys in this one with 16 points. A majority of his points came down the stretch, for he hit a few three-pointers in the second half. Â

- The Cowboys closed on a 10-3 run in the first half, making four of their last five shots to enter the break tied at 28.The Cowboys only shot one free throw in this game. It's a Gallagher-Iba Arena record low for lowest amount of free throws made and attempted in a game. The Cowboys move to 9-2 on the year, which matches last year's 11-game start. This extends the Cowboys' record against Tulsa to 73-38, including a 41-15 mark in GIA. This makes the Cowboys 153-69 all-time against current members of the American Athletic Conference.
- Cowboys are now 211-8 (.963) in non-conference games in GIA. OSU is closing in on its 800th win in the historic venue, which opened in 1938 and still uses the original white maple floor.
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 558 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.
