- Jawun Evans scored 27 points for his 12th career 20-point performance. He also tallied eight assists, which is his 11th game this year with at least five assists this season.
- Jeffrey Carroll tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth career double-double, but his streak of 20-point games ends at four. He was the first Cowboy to post four straight 20-point games since James Anderson in 2008-09.
- OSU is now 7-0 all-time against TCU inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowboys are 9-1 all-time against TCU in Stillwater in Stillwater, but the lone win for the Horned Frogs came in 1925 - 13 years prior to the first game in GIA.
- The Cowboys won their 12th game on the season, which ties their 2015-16 win total.
- The Cowboys are now 7-2 against TCU since the Horned Frogs joined the Big 12 in 2012-13. The all-time series is now 24-4 in favor of OSU.
- OSU has now won back-to-back Big 12 games for the first time since February of 2015. The Cowboys improve to 2-6 in league play this season.
- The win ends OSU's modest three-game home losing streak. Each of the three opponents that beat OSU in Stillwater are rated No. 26 or better in the KenPom rankings. The Cowboys are now 7-3 at home this season.
- Brad Underwood improves to 101-22 in his career. With the win at Texas Tech on Saturday, Underwood became the 10th fastest coach to 100 games in NCAA history (122 games).
- Davon Dillard scored a career-high 10 points, including an explosive second-half dunk with 15:03 remaining.
- Phil Forte hit one 3-pointer, which increases his career total to 296 - only three shy of tying Keiton Page (299 career 3-pointers) for the school record.
- Forte finished the day with nine points, which moves him to 1,584 career points, which ranks 10th in school history.
- Forte has now suited up in 122 career games for OSU, which is tied for 18th place in school history. He is chasing the school record of 136 currently held by Bryant Reeves and Byron Eaton.
- OSU is 12-5 when leading at the half this season. The Cowboys have outscored their opponents by 87 points in the first half this year.
- The Cowboys' high-pressure defense has forced every opponent to commit at least 10 turnovers. Six OSU opponents have turned the ball over 20-plus times.
- The Cowboys will host Arkansas in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff from Gallagher-Iba Arena is slated for 3 p.m. on ESPNU and the Cowboy Radio Network.
