Kansas State Postgame Notes

Jeff Newberry was back to his usual stat-stuffing self. The senior posted his second career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and also added five assists, three steals and two blocks. It is his second 10-plus rebound game of the season.
Newberry hit what would have been the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, but a video review showed that the senior still had the ball in his hand when the backboard lights illuminated.
Leyton Hammonds led the way with 13, and has now reached double-figures in scoring in each of the last six games.
Today's win snapped OSU's five-game skid in Big 12 play, and moved the Cowboys to 12-13, 3-9 on the year.
The Cowboys have now won four straight in Stillwater over K-State, and 15 of the last 16. OSU is 33-24 all-time in Stillwater against the Wildcats.
