Evans Named To Maui Invite All-Tournament Team

MAUI, Hawaii – Jawun Evans led the Oklahoma State basketball team to a third-place finish at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, and was rewarded with a spot on the all-tournament team.
The sophomore was second among all players at the tournament with an average of 26.0 points per game, third in assists at 4.3 per game, and his 2.7 steals per game ranked second.
Evans scored at least 30 points in each of his first two game in Maui, and now ranks ninth nationally with a season average of 24.7 points per game.
The Preseason All-Big 12 selection was also a watch list candidate for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year award and the Naismith Trophy, which is given to the national player of the year.
