- Most points ever by a freshman in Oklahoma State history (previous: 29 by Cezar Guerrero, James Anderson and Byron Houston).
- Most ever by any OSU player against Oklahoma (Broke previous record of 37 by James Anderson in 2009 and Leroy Combs in 1981).
- Tied for the 3rd best scoring performance by any OSU player ever.
- Second most ever by a Big 12 freshman behind only K-State's Michael Beasley in 2007-08.
- The sixth most by any player in the nation this year, and the third most by a freshman this season.
- Most points by any OSU player since Randy Rutherford tallied 45 at Kansas in 1995.
- He also tallied 18 field goals, which are the second most in OSU history. Only Bob Kurkland's 25 field goal game against St. Louis in 1946.
- Evans also tallied seven rebounds and six assists on the evening.
OU has won the last six meetings in the Bedlam series, and leads the overall series 135-95. In the Travis Ford era, the Cowboys are 6-12 against the rival Sooners.
In its history, OSU is now 6-7 all-time against the No. 2 team in the AP Poll, and has taken down 25 top-five teams in its history.
In Stillwater, the Cowboys still lead the series 61-45, including a 51-27 mark inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
