There's more to Oklahoma State forward Leyton Hammonds than just basketball. Check out these five things you probably didn't know about the North Richland Hills, Texas, native.
Most embarassing on-court moment:
"Back in one of my YMCA days, I was playing basketball and didn't tie my shorts correctly. In the middle of the game, I went up for a rebound, and my shorts and underwear came straight down, so I was bare-naked out there. I had to just pull them back up really fast, so it was all right."
Pre-game superstitions:
"I listen to the same song before every game. It's a song from a movie called Sister Act 2. 'Oh Happy Day', every time right before we go into the meeting room with coach Ford, I listen to it."
Favorite hometown grub:
"That's easy – Wingstop. Lemon pepper. You can never go wrong with Lemon Pepper wings. I'm not getting anything different. I get the 10-piece lemon pepper wing special every time."
Behind the jersey number:
"My favorite player of all-time is Michael Jordan, but when I was growing up I would watch LeBron James. I remember always saying 'I want to be LeBron. I want to be LeBron.' I used to wear a headband and find any high-top shoes like his."
Post-graduation dreams:
"My dream job is to play in the NBA or anywhere professionally. If that doesn't work out I'm earning a degree in business management, so I would love to own my own company. I feel like I'm good with managing people because I'm a people person. I've learned a lot in class and it has prepared me to do that."
Who's the messy roommate:
"Jeffrey Carroll is my roommate, but I'd have to say we're both the messy ones. I definitely am, and I know he is, so we always have to pick up after each other. I feel like they put us together because we're both messy, so we're messy together."
