Cowboys Open Fall At Pebble Beach

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's men's golf team will get its fall season underway this week when it begins play at The Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
The eight-team field for this year's event will also include Arkansas, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt. The Cowboys will be grouped with Ohio State, TCU and Arkansas for the first round of play at the par-72, 6,828-yard layout. The first group is set to begin play at 7:10 a.m. (PST).
Utilizing a 6-count-5 format, the event will consist of 54 holes with 18 being played each day Friday through Sunday.
The event will mark the college debut for a pair of Cowboys with redshirt freshman Nick Heinen and true freshman Zach Bauchou competing. They will be joined in the lineup by juniors Zachary Olsen and Wyndham Clark as well as sophomores Sam Stevens and Kristoffer Ventura.
