Drive For Postseason Success Fueling Cowboy Basketball Offseason
September 11, 2015 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State basketball team has been a motivated bunch this offseason. From early morning agility workouts, to weight room sessions and countless individual and team practices, OSU basketball hasn't slowed down all summer.
But what's been fueling the Cowboys each day? For Travis Ford and Phil Forte, it's the drive to take the next step and win in the NCAA Tournament.
"I want to take that next step for our players and these great Oklahoma State fans," Ford said. "We're one of just 22 teams to make the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three years, but we want more. We hear everyone out there, and just like the fans we want to go further in the NCAA Tournament and win the Big 12. That's why we're working so hard this summer. Everyone associated with this program is working really hard to make that happen."
